First of all, I need to say thank you to my followers! You haven´t left me, even though my gallery has been like a desert with no recent painting. I feel really grateful, but also really apologetic to you, guys! You just need to know that I really appreciate every single one of you!
I´m sorry that I haven`t been here for so long, but don`t worry, I´ll try to catch up with you again! A new painting is aaallmooost finished, so it´ll probably be done in a few days. You probably won´t be surprised about what kind of painting it is, though.
(HINT: A dangerous, wild being. :iconutaurapefaceplz: :icon34nipahplz:)

I won´t bore you with all the tedious details of my not so interesting life, but if you want to see more pictures from my daily life, feel free to visit my instagram (tavatoon) or blog (www.heleneeikefjord.blogspot.com). When it comes to that blog, I made it 2 days ago, so there isn´t really much to see- yet! The plan is to make it an art blog, where I upload WIPs and finished paintings, but I may also post photographs and MAYBE some personal videos or rants. Who knows. You´ll have to wait and see.
:iconlingdanceplz:

Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well! Take care!

Dream job?

1 min read
Here in Norway, the deadline for applying to universities is drawing nearer and nearer. There is only a few days left, to be more precise. In that regard, I´m really curious about what your dream job is, and how you realized what you wanted to be?
I´ve now had a year off from school, so I figured it`s about time to get started on my studies, only problem is that I´m not quite sure what my dream is. Hence, I have no idea what I should apply for. Veterinary nurse? Landscape architect? Art school? English? Seriously, I think my brain is going to explode... like boof... :iconexplodeplz: :iconimdeadplz:.
One thing´s for sure, though, I´m never going to become a nurse (that I realized pretty quick last year).

So come on guuuise, I need your stories and advices! Please tell me about your dream, and maybe I´ll realize my own as well.

Gwargh, I can seriously be so stupid sometimes, and today is probably the day I`ve acted the most stupid ever.
My biggest mistake was having a water glass near my mac air (which I´ve saved money for a long time), to then spill at leaf half the glass over the mac. I think the water might have gotten into its system, because the mac automatically shut down, and left me behind freaking out and desperately trying to dry it somehow. :iconcomebackplz:
Some articles online said it might help to just let the mac dry for maybe 2 days, but what I wanted to know was;
Has something like that happened to you guys? What happened and what did you do?

The soaked mac has left me kind of depressed (sry if it makes me sound shallow, but I`ve really worked hard to afford it) since it´s not insured. That flood was definitely a lot worse than my two almost-accidents in the traffic, though (I´m trying to learn how to drive.... not easy... at all :icondotdotdotzplz:), which fortunately didn`t end up in any broken down cars...

So... any guidance? Please? :icongivingupplz:

UPDATE: I´m in shock.... It actually worked to let the mac dry for 2 days! So if you have a future accident with your mac, be patient! :o

I know I`m a few days in advance, but I just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas!
Since I`m busy with work and other preoccupies, I haven`t exactly been very active, so I hope you`ve all been doing good the last months!
Please take good care of yourselves, especially now in the holiday season!

So; I'm not going to write a long journal entry (as I usually do- please forgive me :icontearplz:), but well... I'm just in a really difficult spot lately, so I was hoping for some advice from you guys...
What would you choose? The safe path with a secure job that your parents wish you to have (though it's not really what you want
or
the tricky way, (which might include getting away from the safe road), to find out what you really want to do with your life?

I look forward to see your answers... Thanks ~
